Hello, from Mahtomedi Middle School!
 It is my pleasure to speak on behalf of an amazing group of educators and support staff here at MMS. We pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with students and families to connect academic learning with real-life experiences. We value our role in this community and strive to create opportunities for our kids to be active participants both in school and when at home. We offer a wide variety of learning opportunities, and our courses are designed to challenge learners at a level appropriate for each of them. Not only are our teachers experts within their content area, but they are also knowledgeable and experienced at working with adolescents as they transverse the sometimes challenging preteen and early teenage years. We structure learning activities that are developmentally appropriate and keep the whole child at the center of the learning. We hope that students take advantage of many opportunities here at the middle school to learn, further explore their interests, and continue to nurture their talents. We are here to support their curiosity, expand their knowledge, and teach them the value of being a good person. We welcome partnerships with families and want to work with you to continually grow and develop a system that supports our students. Please feel free to reach out.
