2019-20 Transportation Information
Yes, it is that time of year again to start thinking about transportation. We ask that you fill out the necessary forms and return them to our offices before July 1, 2019. If any further changes occur, please send updated forms to us no later than August 5, 2019. Bus cards will be sent home to students approximately two weeks before school starts.

Don’t know if you need to fill out a form?
•If your student(s) are going into grades 9-12 and need to ride a bus, then YES, you do need to fill out the District Resident Transportation Information Form. All students expecting a bus ride should submit a form, even if they are choosing to only ride ONE WAY (either morning or afternoon).

• If your student(s) plan to ride our buses from any location such as an alternate address, or another bus stop, then YES, please fill out the Out of District Transportation Request Form. Students may only access existing stops within or near the District’s boundary. Bus routes and stops will not be created out of the district except for on roads the buses must already travel. Stops that fall outside the district boundary will be charged a fee for this service. Please see the form for more details. If at any time during the school year, your situation changes and transportation needs change, please call the Transportation Office at 651-407-2431 to have your eligible student placed on a bus route. Route changes usually take 3-5 business days before taking effect. All transportation forms are available for download by CLICKING HERE or on the Mahtomedi School District Website. Click on the About tab, scroll down and click on Transportation, click on Bus Forms (located on the left-hand side of the page). The District Resident Transportation Information Form can be submitted online. All other forms can only be printed and sent back to us at this time. Forms are also available at all school locations.
