Mahtomedi Middle School Sixth-grade students are welcome to join us for the Where Everybody Belongs (WEB) event on Wednesday, August 27, from 8 am-12 pm.
Our WEB Program will help get your 6th grader off to a great start! WEB is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 6th graders by connecting them with WEB Leaders, who are positive, responsible, hand-selected 8th graders. Your child’s WEB Leaders will help them feel more comfortable as well as help them achieve success in their first year of middle school.
Families received communication on August 13 about the event and WEB leaders will call sixth-grade students a few days before the event. Transportation will be provided (students will take their bus route).
It will be a fun, active, and informative opportunity for students!
Students are encouraged to leave backpacks, purses, cell phones/electronic devices or other like items at home as the day is quite active and personal belongings may be left unattended. Students can access a phone in the office if needed.
