Media Center/Library
The Middle School Media Center is open to students from 7:45a.m. to 3:15p.m. Individual students may come to use the Media Center with a classroom pass at any time during the school day, as well as before and after school.
The media center book collection includes over 10,000 items to support the curriculum and recreational reading interests, has desktop computers to print from, and is the first line of support for chromebook issues.
The mission of the Mahtomedi Schools Media Program is to cultivate digital literacy and digital citizenship skills, promote a lifelong love of reading, ensure that all students and staff have access to a wide range of diverse materials, and receive guidance to create and acquire new knowledge. The library media program provides a safe, welcoming environment that supports students and staff to be bold agents of their learning so they can explore, create, and grow to achieve success.
There are a couple ways you can access our resources. First you could login to your Destiny catalog account and put a book on hold, and we will email you when the book is ready. Second, you could ask your teacher for a pass to come to the media center.
